The Jordan 1 Low 85 Neutral Gray represents an effort by Nike to return to the brand's vintage roots. The sneaker takes inspiration from Michael Jordan's first lifestyle sneaker, the Air Jordan 1 which was released in 1985, but bears a similar resemblance to the Nike Dunk Low. Several details emphasize the vintage aesthetic of the shoe, including the slightly faded midsole that provides a worn-in look. The sneaker has a leather upper, perforations over the vamp and a prominent Swoosh on the side. The color blocking in Summit White, Light Smoke Grey, Neutral Gray and Sail is similar to the OG version, but the gray tones are darker.
